Calcagni Animal Organization Drive A Success!…

Animal Drive

Over Valentine’s Day weekend Calcagni Real Estate‘s Wallingford office hosted a collection drive to benefit the Wallingford Animal Control, Meriden Humane Society, and Cheshire Friends of Feral Cats!

Members of our local communities along with Calcagni agents & staff were super generous, dropping off animal food, blankets, toys, etc. –  in spite of the inclement weather we recently had!

THANK YOU to all who donated!Animal Shelter Collection fur friends Zack and daughter

Making a difference is what builds relationships in all communities…

…..Hamden resident Thomas Carney is doing just that, by holding a coat sale on Nov 2-3 to raise funds for the American Cancer Society, in honor of his mother Patricia.
Please spread the word and let’s help Tom reach a goal of $1,000.00 in the sales of these coats ($5.00 per coat of name brands). Any coats that do not sell will be donated to other organizations such as shelters for the homeless and those in need.
~Thanks to Calcagni Realtor Maggie Griffin for sharing this story with us, and for spreading the word!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CALCAGNI REAL ESTATE UNVEILS NEW WEBSITE

Local independent real estate brokerage announces the launch of their rebranded website

CHESHIRE, CT – March 20, 2013 – After months of research, planning, photo shoots, programming and testing, Calcagni Real Estate, Central Connecticut’s leading independent real estate brokerage, has finally unveiled their new website—www.calcagni.com. The newly redesigned site includes a fresh new look featuring local, unique photography of hidden treasures of our community, improved property search functionality with a Google Maps interface, new agent profile pages, and much more.

The new Calcagni.com was unveiled on Wednesday, March 20, at a company-wide meeting held at their Cheshire office. The site was created over the past several months as a joint collaboration between Calcagni’s marketing department and ‘Think Creative Group’, a local, woman-owned branding and marketing firm.

The timing for the new rebranded site couldn’t be more perfect, “Our new website and overall brand now truly reflect who we really are—the local real estate company that can serve our clients better because we’ve been rooted in the community for decades, know the market inside and out, and we care enough to invest in our local businesses—which means that the money we spend stays in the local community in which we live and work,” said Steven Calcagni, president.

Calcagni Real Estate has spent over 40 years getting to know their towns, building relationships with families and local businesses, and becoming part of the fabric of their community. The firm is continually investing in innovative online tools for their clients as well as for their agents, blending “old school” service with “new school technology.” “The improved functionality of our new website will enable our realtors to better serve their clients and will also help them to make the most of the Spring 2013 market—when I believe the real estate market will turn around,” said Calcagni.

Over the next few months, Calcagni Real Estate is excited to also roll out TV commercials, digital advertising campaigns, social media contests and more to continue to entrench their brand in the minds—and hearts—of their clients and neighbors.

Calcagni Associates Holds Fundraiser to Benefit the Wallingford Emergency Shelter

The Realtors of Calcagni Associates Real Estate, New Haven County’s leading independent real estate brokerage, had a good reason to dress up for a recent fun night out on the town. Led by realtor Tara Carey, Calcagni’s Wallingford office held a Dress up Happy Hour Fundraiser on February 23rd at Jake’s Tavern, located on Center Street in Wallingford. The proceeds from the night’s festivities, over $300 plus a $50 gift card to a local department store given by Jake’s, are being donated towards furnishing one of two new townhouse units at the Wallingford Emergency Shelter.

The Wallingford Emergency Shelter, a non-profit organization that provides temporary housing and meals during the winter months to those in need, recently broke ground on a the two-unit home, and construction is expected to be completed within the next few months. In addition to the happy hour event, the Wallingford team at Calcagni Associates is also currently collecting donations of gently used household items to donate to furnish the unit at the shelter.

“Tara and all of the agents on our team have always been involved in causes to benefit those in need in the local community,” said Steve Calcagni, President. “They have done an amazing job of working as a team and to pitch in and make a difference for such a great cause.”

If you have any household items you would like to donate, please stop by Calcagni Associates’ Wallingford office, located at 924 North Main Street Extension, or call Tara Carey at 203-265- 1821. For information about the Wallingford Emergency Shelter, visit www.wallingfordshelter.org
